Beautiful People

I watched the Beautiful People music video today :)
It was really different from anything Chris Brown has done, but it still had elements of him in it. I think the video suits the song because the song is also nothing like his usual. I really loved the fact that it showed him having fun with friends. There were also some really cool celeb cameos: Ryan Leslie, Swizz beats, Pharell (I love him) , The Game, Bow Wow, Tyga, Estelle, T-pain (Lol, his dancing was epic), Nelly, Sean Combs (aka P-diddy), Omarion (haven't seen him in ages, he looked fit), Tayana Taylor, Brandy (it was really cute when she mouthed "I'm proud of you" to CB), Timbaland, and I could swear I saw Pete Wentz at the very beginning.

F.A.M.E.

The highly anticipated album of Chris Brown was finally released today and my twitter timeline has been going insane talking about it. I feel really sad that I can't get it until tomorrow because I'm super busy and I don't wanna buy it online or whatever, I want that record in hard copy! I'm probably gonna get it tomorrow no matter what it shall cost me. I know its gonna be insane because Chris is just too talented creatively. I admire him. Jennifer Lopez is BACK bitches!

Jennifer Lopez recently released the video to her "On the floor" single featuring Pitbull. Jennifer Lopez was dancing like crazy and showing us she still has it in her. I love that song and the video also. But what I love even more? Her new single "Invading my mind"!! It was produced by RedOne and Lady Gaga. It is an amazing song. Tonight, Fox news will be airing the 16th episode of the 2nd Season of Glee (I cant wait as usual). Its gonna be the first episode with actual songs made by glee and not the usual covers. Anyway, contrary to previous statements made by glee fans, this will not be the season finale. There are still more episodes to come but they haven't been mentioned yet. I cannot wait for tonights episode because one of my mothers aswell as my favorite black actresses Loretta Devine will be guest starring :)

Hollywood Tonight

A new Michael Jackson video was released a few days ago and I watched it and I have to say I was impressed by Algerian-born dancer Sofia Boutella's skills. She was an AMAZING MJ. However, I still felt like Michael Jackson's presence wasn't strong in the video which is kinda hard to do seeing as he is dead. Anyway, its one of my best songs on his Michael album so I'm glad it atleast has a music video.

Homework

Homework is just the most stupid thing ever be it in the form of a project, written assignment, presentation yada yada yada. Its like I sit down and decide I’m gonna do homework but instead I get distracted and do other things, I might has well have gone out with my friends or watched a movie online. At least thats using my time better and I wont feel like I wasted my fcuking life. Ugh.

Walls painted with insanity. Corruption and violence reek in the atmosphere, curses and abusive words thrown at you as you walk in. There is nothing more normal than the chaos and destruction that falls upon us.

The Giant of Africa
Being run by small minded short sighted men followed by narrow minded people. We fall short of the glory that is in our name. 

Beautiful is Nigeria
A scar remains in her chest as she mourns for the child she was forced to abort, wisdom. Tears are brought down to the ground as she sits there hopeless with exposed breasts hanging below her stomach sucked of its richness and resources.  

Innocent men are brought down to the ground and we just stand and watch handicapped. Slaughtered pieces of flesh distributed across the land and the ignored fact that they were once part of our family. 
Sought for justification in our wrong actions. Our future remains as unclear as our present is unheard of. Why is it that we allow the names of our leaders past to drown? 

A promise of hope
Reassurance that the money invested in the younger generation will bring about a change. Imaginations that will one day come true, a place where Nigeria is resting in serenity and unity. A place that puts a smile across our faces when we dream of home.
